Isaac Mizrahi

Thursday, May 4 @ 8pm

Special savings now through may 4 | tickets starting at $50

“From the moment he took the stage with his incredibly talented six-piece jazz band, Mizrahi was in charge… singing standards and pop songs, from Stephen Sondheim to Blondie and Cole Porter to Madonna, he makes every moment sparkle. In between songs, he muses on everything from politics, to dieting to his latest Instagram obsession. – The Hollywood Times

Treat yourself to an evening of unbridled joy at this one-of-a-kind cabaret show and experience how Mr. Mizrahi “turns a performance into a private party, with witty, engaging banter that’s at once topical and timeless, political and personal. There’s a lot more that could be said, but to quote Mr. Mizrahi: “Brevity is the soul of wit—and lingerie.” (New York Stage Review)

Fashion designer, broadway star and performer extraordinaire, Isaac Mizrahi has worked extensively in the entertainment industry for over 30 years. Most recently seen as Amos Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago, he heads to the Emelin after his annual (triumphant) residency at Café Carlyle in New York City. Isaac also performs at such venues as Joe’s Pub, The Regency Ballroom and several City Winery locations nationwide. He is the subject and co-creator of Unzipped, a documentary following the making of his Fall 1994 collection which received an award at the Sundance Film Festival. He hosted his own television talk show “The Isaac Mizrahi Show” for seven years, has written three books, and has made countless appearances in movies and on television. He served as a judge on “Project Runway: All-Stars” for the series’ entire seven-season run.

“…one of the most enjoyable singer-entertainers of the current moment…his comic timing is terrific, and, even better, his stage personality is even larger than the oversized chiffon gardenia in his lapel.”
New York Stage Review, Isaa Mizrahi, Back at Café Carlyle

“Matt Schofield is widely considered one of the best blues guitar players walking the planet…” – Kevin Klein, medium.com
