Frisson’s holiday program features classical festive favorites, including Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, O Come All Ye Faithful, selections from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, and unique arrangements of Handel’s Messiah and Vivaldi’s Gloria. Enjoy timeless music such as Winter from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Bach’s Brandenburg No. 4, Carol of the Bells, a Christmas jazz suite, and traditional carols.
Led by acclaimed oboist Thomas Gallant, Frisson is one of America’s most popular chamber music groups.
Members have performed at prestigious festivals like Marlboro and Verbier, and venues including Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. With several musicians part of Carnegie Hall’s Ensemble Connect and holding principal positions in major orchestras, Frisson is celebrated for their versatility and engaging performances.
