Join us as six storytellers take the stage to bare their souls, performing true stories from their own lives, based on the theme “Big Finish.” Stories may be funny or sad, or both. Come hear stories about leaping across the finish line or barely getting it done, kicking it to the curb, burning down the house, going out on a high note, and more.

Storyboom brings together master storytellers, friends and neighbors to share in the art and power of live storytelling. The show is the collective brainchild of two wonderfully talented and “storied” White Plains residents, Danielle Dardashti, Emmy Award-winning documentarian, and Ivy Eisenberg, the award-winning humor writer, storyteller and comedian (PBS “Stories from the Stage,” She Makes Me Laugh Comedy Festival, Perfect Liars Club). Together, the two “Moth StorySLAM” champions bring together master storytellers, sharing true stories face-to-face with a live audience.

Danielle Dardashti

Danielle Dardashti is CEO of dash., a consultancy that helps companies utilize storytelling to achieve business results. She leads corporate storytelling workshops and helps companies make films and podcasts. Her clients include Pfizer, Intel, Allianz, SAP, and many others. Danielle is an Emmy award-winning documentary producer/writer, a Moth StorySLAM champion, a former on-air TV reporter, and the author of several books. She’s currently a fellow in the 2023 Digital Storytellers Lab, where she’s producing an audio documentary called The Nightingale of Iran.

Ivy Eisenberg

Ivy Eisenberg is an award-winning humor writer, Moth StorySLAM winning storyteller and comedian, who performs throughout the Greater NYC area and Washington, DC. She has appeared on PBS’s Stories from the Stage, She Makes Me Laugh Comedy Festival, Generation Women, Perfect Liars Club, and several other shows. Ivy also leads storytelling workshops and provides story coaching. In addition to co-producing Storyboom, Ivy co-produces “Solo Heroes,” a revue of solo shows in progress. By day, Ivy runs an IT and Innovation Consultancy, Our IdeaWorks, LLC, where she helps customers and product users tell their stories about products and services.
