“Tony Yazbeck is a rarity in show business. He’s a complete, romantic dancing actor, or acting dancer. Like such hallowed predecessors as Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly, he’s as expressive with his twirls and jetés as he is with his face and voice, bringing balletic wonder to ordinary rituals of love and courtship.” — Ben Brantley, The New York Times
TONY Award nominee Tony Yazbeck has starred in eleven Broadway shows, including On The Town, Gypsy, and Prince of Broadway. He most recently starred as Cary Grant in the new Broadway musical Flying Over Sunset, at Lincoln Center Theatre. His television and film credits include “The Good Fight,” “Billions,” “Smash,” and the feature documentary “Every Little Step.” In concert he has appeared with the San Francisco Symphony, Carnegie Hall, National Symphony Orchestra at Wolf Trap; he was featured on the PBS Great Performances special “The Bernstein Centennial Celebration at Tanglewood” with the Boston Symphony Orchestra; and he was most recently featured on PBS with “The Kennedy Center at 50.”
“Tony Yazbeck can cavort with winning intensity, address the audience as if taking it into his confidence, then dance and sing alone as if we’re viewing his private thoughts..” — Alistair Macaulay, The New York Times
“Tony Yazbeck is nothin’ but class.” — Hayley Levitt, TheaterMania
