Ladies Of Laughter

Saturday, February 18, 2023 @ 8pm

Ladies of Laughter is back! Grab your friends and spend a raucous evening with some of the funniest women doing stand-up today. For over twenty years, Ladies of Laughter has served as a launching pad for female comedic talent, with past participants ranging from Amy Schumer to Melissa Rauch. Buy your tickets soon because the “ladies” typically sell out!

Leighann Lord

Leighann Lord’s “heads up humor” is stand-up comedy at it’s finest. Inspired by the brilliance of George Carlin, the smooth jazz style of Franklyn Ajaye, and the elegance of Rita Rudner, Leighann has crafted her own unique brand of Thinking Cap Comedy. It’s no wonder she received the NYC Black Comedy Award for “The Most Thought Provoking Black Female Comic.” And for two consecutive years, Leighann was Harlem Week’s official comedian. (The only other comedian in Harlem Week’s history to earn that distinction was Richard Pryor.) Leighann has performed around the world. A festival favorite, she’s been featured in the Trinidad, Montreal, Winnipeg, Halifax, Boston, Detroit and NYC Underground Comedy Festivals. just for them.

Marion Grodin

For the last decade, Marion Grodin has been one of the hottest comics in the country. She is a favorite at New York City’s top clubs, including Standup NY and Gotham Comedy Club, where she regularly headlines. As one of the country’s top emcees, Marion’s incredible ability to improvise has allowed her to master the art of talking with the audience. Always willing to be as self-revealing as she is probing of the audience…this affectionately edgy style has become Marion’s trademark. The result is a hilariously personal show that makes the audience feel like it was custom-made

Kim Berns

Kim is a radio host and podcast host of “What’s the Story?”and “Cook and Comic” on I-Tunes and Spotify. She is a stand-up comic in New York City and produces, writes and emcees various charity events throughout the country.
