“Ladman has such clever, well-written material and such a breezy, unassuming delivery that it would be easy to overlook just how good she is: Her act seems effortless.” —The Los Angeles Times
Award-winning comedian Cathy Ladman has built a remarkable career as a stand-up, writer, actress, and comedy coach, earning the American Comedy Award for Best Female Stand-Up Comic and making ten appearances on The Tonight Show—with Johnny Carson, Jay Leno, and Jimmy Fallon—including the final two anniversary episodes of Carson’s legendary run. She has also appeared six times on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, starred in her own HBO One Night Stand special, and was featured in a Showtime special.
Known for her candid, self-aware humor, Ladman’s stand-up dives into anxiety, relationships, body image, and the everyday moments we all overthink—but rarely say out loud. Her delivery is deeply personal yet instantly relatable, transforming life’s small struggles into sharp, honest, and consistently hilarious observations.
Beyond the stage, Ladman’s extensive film and television career includes recurring roles on I’m Dying Up Here and Pretty Little Liars, along with guest appearances on Modern Family, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Mad Men, Scandal, NCIS: LA, How to Get Away with Murder, and Everybody Loves Raymond. Her film credits include The Aristocrats, Charlie Wilson’s War, and Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead.
