Christine Ohlman (a/k/a “The Beehive Queen” known for her mile-high platinum-blonde hairdo) is the current, long-time vocalist with NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” Band, and one of the undisputed queens of American rock n’ soul. Mixing a fiery brand of rootsy Americana with an old-school soul music flavor, her live shows with her band Rebel Montez are legendary for their high energy, stellar musicianship, and superb storytelling. Ohlman will perform a full set of songs from her six CDs — including the critically acclaimed The Deep End – plus 2023’s upcoming The Grown-Up Thing.

Christine Ohlman has performed with just about everyone; Bonnie Raitt, Keb Mo, Jon Batiste, Al Green, Steve Miller, Smokey Robinson, Brian Wilson, Bruce Springsteen, and the late George Harrison; and just about everywhere; the Paris Conservatory, the Royal Academy at Ghent, Carnegie Hall, “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.” She’s lent her voice to numerous GRAMMY-nominated studio and live collaborations with such greats as Charlie Musselwhite, Dion, Ian Hunter, Marshall Crenshaw and the late Dr. John and Levon Helm.

LIBERTY DEVITTO & THE SLIM KINGS

Known as “Billy Joel’s drummer, Liberty DeVitto performed and recorded with the pop icon for 30 years, as well as performed or recorded with Stevie Nicks, Karen Carpenter, and Paul McCartney, among others. Liberty brings the same intense drive, endless creativity, and New York swagger to the Slim Kings to create a whole new sound – a soul-satisfying pastiche of Americana, classic rock and blues rock with a jam band aesthetic – with the help of singer/guitarist Michael Sackler-Berner and top session R&B bassist Andy Attanasio. This is a trio of musician’s musicians that defy genre, perfectly capable of acting like chameleons to whatever moves them at any given moment. Watch them, they’re going places.
