Creedence Clearwater Revival was an American rock band led by John Fogerty who were prolific in the late 1960s and early 1970s, including playing Woodstock in 1969. CCR sold over 28 million albums in the US alone and CCR still fills the rock radio airwaves.
Green River provides a performance faithful to a live CCR show with a full 90 minute show of your favorite CCR classics including Born on the Bayou, their Woodstock opener, Bad Moon Rising, Proud Mary, Up Around the Bend, and Susie Q. The band also mixes in John Fogerty classics including The Old Man Down the Road and Centerfield capturing the energy of his current show.
Green River is named after the CCR song of the same name which was their second song at Woodstock. Green River is the #1 Nationally Touring Creedence Clearwater Revival/John Fogerty Tribute Show, and is the brainchild of native New Yorker Rick “Noodles” Horvath who started singing CCR songs in his very first band when he was only 13 years old.
