Fall Film Club starts Wed, Oct 6 at 7:30pm. Our Film Club Programmer Joe Neumaier is back with six of the best new pre-release independent films and exclusive pre-recorded post-film discussions with special guests, as available. Host of the weekly “Movie Minute” on 710AM-WOR, Joe Neumaier has been a film journalist and radio/TV commentator for over 25 years and served as Creative Consultant for the Sarasota Film Festival and the Annapolis Film Festival for several years. As Q&A moderator, he’s welcomed to the stage Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington, Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ava DuVernay, Dan Rather, and Mick Jagger, among many others. The former Chief Film Critic and Film Editor of the New York Daily News, he’s appeared on MSNBC, Fox 5 NY, and CNN, is regularly heard on KSRO-San Francisco, and his writing on film and the arts has appeared in The New York Times, The London Observer, Time, Washington Post, Entertainment Weekly, Financial Times, and Fortune.
