THE HERRICANES tells the unknown true story of the Houston Herricanes, a professional women’s tackle football team from the 1970’s. Tired of being told what sports they were allowed to play, these overlooked athletes broke barriers in the fight to bring women’s sports to new frontiers.
Join us in celebrating the path they blazed for female athletes everywhere by hosting a private screening of this award-winning documentary, followed by a panel of female athletes in boxing, tackle football and rowing.
