The NYC-based Pink Floyd tribute experience will perform their iconic hits including Echoes\, One of These Days\, and Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun paired with spectacular visuals will put you right in the middle of the Pompeii Amphitheatre. As the film shows Pink Floyd in the studio recording Dark Side of the Moon\, the six-piece band will play the landmark album in its entirety. Fans will relive the Pink Floyd experience through Pompeii Floyd’s thematic and theatrical recreation of the distinct David Gilmour guitar tones and Roger Waters bass lines. \nPompeii Floyd is led by guitarist and singer JT Curtis (from the Broadway cast of Let it Be)\, features bassist/singer James Preston (Hedwig and the Angry Inch)\, keyboardist/singer Dino Covelli (Surrogate Band) and drummer Hector Lopez (Tito Puente). Filling out the lineup as a six-piece band is singer/guitarist Meghan Rose (Xena: Warrior Musical) and saxophonist/keyboardist Colleen Farquhar (All Revved Up). While imprisoned\, Joseph discovers his ability to interpret dreams\, and he soon finds himself in front of the mighty but troubled\, Elvis-inspired\, Pharaoh. Joseph’s solution to Egypt’s famine elevates him to Pharaoh’s right-hand man and reunites him with his family.\nFull of catchy songs in a variety of styles\, from a parody of French ballads (“Those Canaan Days”)\, to country-western (“One More Angel in Heaven”) and calypso (“Benjamin Calypso”)\, along with the unforgettable classics “Any Dream Will Do” and “Close Every Door\,” Joseph is a family-friendly musical that will delight all ages!
