“Felipe Galganni juxtaposed the precision of tap with the curvaceousness of capoeira, the Brazilian martial art. As two crouching, cartwheeling capoeiristas and six tappers wove through one another to Baden Powell’s “Berimbau,” their musicality was contagious.” — The New York Times
“Felipe is a versatile tap stylist and beautiful dancer. I love to watch him dance my dances and create his own beautiful compositions.” — Brenda Bufalino
“a brilliant young tap dancer…” — Monkey House

NELIDA TIRADO has been recognized around the globe for her intense grace and powerful style. Though she shares a deep passion and talent for both Spanish/Flamenco and Latin dance, she recognizes the differences between the two are immense; from the very style of the dances to the origin of their intricate history. Yet, each share a musical equality that reflects on life’s personal sentiments of loss, love, death, pain and joy. The comparisons are distinctive, but the personal connection between the two, have led Nelida through one of the most exhilarating and successful dance careers. A critically acclaimed international performer, who has graced both Broadway and the Metropolitan opera stages, was listed as Dance Magazine’s “25 To Watch,” and is a Two-time BRIO award winner for artistic excellence as well as a three-time recipient of the Tito Puente Scholarship.
“MAGNIFICENT” AND “UTTERLY COMPELLING.” — The New York Times
“The flamenco dancer Nélida Tirado’s astounding solo provided the unexpected heart of the show. Her luxurious curves sheathed in a high-necked, clingy red dress, Ms. Tirado attacked the floor.” — The New York Times
“Robust and sensual, Nélida Tirado puts her head down and charges into action” – Star Ledger”
